About Trixx aka Munchie
Meet Trixx—better known to her inner circle as "Munchie"—an enchanting cat with a spirit as complex as her adorably unique appearance. Munchie is not your typical feline friend; she is a lesson in patience, resilience, and the kind of bond that can only be forged through time and understanding. With her tiny little legs and a rather charmingly chunky body, she might look like a cute, cuddly marshmallow—but don't be fooled. Munchie has lived a life that has made her cautious, and her love is not given freely.
When Munchie first arrived in her foster home, she was terrified of humans. Her past left her wary and untrusting; it took four long months for her foster parent to gain enough trust from her to be able to get in a kitten burrito long enough to trim her overgrown nails. And while she has made remarkable strides, this progress was hard-earned through hours of dedicated care, patience, and understanding from her foster carer. Now, Munchie will curl up on your bed, claim a spot on her couch to watch TV, and, if on the very rare occasion normally after a good pamper session (she loves to be brushed) let her foster mum hear the soft, gentle purr that shows she feels safe.
Munchie has a secret: she's a bit of a queen in her own right. She loves to perch herself at the very top of a tall cat scratcher, where she can oversee her entire kingdom with those bright, observant eyes. From her high vantage point, she watches the outside world like the regal cat she is, ensuring everything is just as it should be. It’s her throne, and don’t even think about challenging her for it!
And while she might act like royalty, Munchie also has a playful side. Her favourite treasure? A humble plastic spring. She is regularly spotted prancing around the house with it proudly clutched in her mouth, a trophy she fiercely protects from any other foster kittens who dare to covet it. It’s her prize possession, and she takes great delight in outsmarting her little rivals, making sure they know who's really in charge of this domain.
But make no mistake: Munchie is not a lap cat, and she won’t be rushing to greet your house guests anytime soon. She’s a cat for the experienced pet owner—someone who understands that Munchie’s trust is a gift that must be earned. Her ideal home is a quiet sanctuary without children, where patience is abundant, and expectations are realistic. A home that understands that Munchie’s journey will not be quick or easy and that the bond you build with her will take time. She may regress in a new environment, and you'll need to be prepared for that.
Munchie requires a human that is as dedicated to her grooming as she is. She will require someone who is willing to brush her and clean her ears once a week.
If you’re someone who appreciates the quiet beauty of a flower slowly blooming in its own time, who has the patience to cherish those rare, special moments when Munchie chooses to trust you enough to curl up on your bed, and who is ready to offer her the calm, loving home she truly deserves, then her foster mum is waiting to hear from you.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
