About Lilly
Meet Lilly, a Kelpie mix girl weighing 15kg, has an active, loving nature and a semi-long coat. She is very loving and tries so hard to please you. 🥰
Lilly would suit an energetic family or someone who wants to train her in agility as she has high energy, and is very intelligent. 🎓
She loves being close and having your attention, so will benefit from a home where she can continue to build her confidence. 🧡
Lilly will wait for food and permission to enter doors/gates, something she is working on as she gets excited in anticipation at house doors. She thrives with consistency and guidance. 👌
Lilly LOVES a dip in the pool or any kind of water. 💧 She also enjoys her toys and chasing balls. ⚽
She has previously lived with cats, but does like to chase them. 🐱
Because she does enjoy chasing things, Lilly is not suited with chickens or birds. ❌🐔
Lilly would love a family with another older male dog 🐶🐶, or as an only dog 🐶, and where any children are over 12 years. 👨👩👧👧
Lilly will need a home where she can sleep inside and have access to a yard that will need 5ft fences.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
