About Anna Banana Lovelace
Anna Banana Lovelace is a 2-year-and-6-month-old Boxer cross who is the definition of a gentle giant. Weighing in at a solid 32 kilograms, she hilariously thinks she's only 1 kilo and loves nothing more than being close to her favorite people. Her affectionate nature shines through as she constantly seeks attention, cuddles, and a cozy spot to rest right beside you.
When Anna first entered the shelter, she was quite shy and hesitant to come out of her shell. It took a few days of patience and love, but once she realized she was in a safe and caring environment, her true personality blossomed. Now, Anna Banana is the life of the shelter, winning the hearts of everyone she meets and becoming best friends with every staff member and volunteer. Her transformation from timid to playful and outgoing has been remarkable.
Anna also has a wonderful temperament when it comes to interacting with other dogs. She loves to socialize and play, making her a fantastic companion for families with other pups. Whether it's exploring the yard with her furry friends or going on long walks, Anna thrives on adventure and enjoys every opportunity to get out and about. She's a big fan of outdoor activities, always eager to sniff around and discover new places, yet remains calm and well-behaved on her leash.
Built like a sturdy brick, this stunning girl is not only physically strong but emotionally resilient. She's a loyal and devoted dog who just wants to be part of a loving home where she can shower her family with affection. Anna would fit perfectly into a home that loves spending time with their dog, going on walks, and possibly has other dogs for her to befriend.
If you're looking for a dog who will bring endless love, joy, and companionship into your life, Anna Banana Lovelace is ready to be your forever friend.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
