About Trixie
Hey there, I'm Trixie, a super sweet girl with a soft spot for chin scratches and all things cozy! I'm on the lookout for my forever family, and I've got a lot of love to give. Here's a little bit about me:
Personality:
I'm a total lovebug who thrives on attention. If you've got a free hand, I'm your girl for some quality petting time. I'll roll around happily just to catch your eye, and I'll make sure you know how much I appreciate every scratch and cuddle. I'm friendly and affectionate, and I get along great with other cats. I've even lived with dogs before, and I did just fine-pretty open-minded, don't you think?
Ideal Home:
I'm looking for a home where I can be surrounded by love and respect. I'm perfectly fine with kids, as long as they're old enough to understand that I need my personal space sometimes. I'm a big fan of the outdoors, but I'm not a fan of danger. A safe, secure yard where I can roam, play, and sunbathe would be a dream come true for me. I'll even keep you company on your gardening days or just enjoy some quiet time lounging in the sun.
Hobbies:
I love a good nap in a sunny spot, chasing after toys, and exploring the great outdoors-safely, of course! I'm not all about adventure, though. Sometimes, I just want to curl up with my favorite people and enjoy a quiet evening. I'm also pretty good at getting along with others, whether they have two legs or four.
Looking For:
A family who's ready to spoil me with affection and maybe even share their cozy blankets. I'd love a home with someone who's experienced in understanding cats like me, who knows that I need a bit of my own space but will be right there with love when I'm ready to snuggle up. And if you've got a safe yard for me to explore? Well, I'm already purring just thinking about it!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
