At 38.1kg, our boy Pete is not your regular dog.....he is your own personal cuddle bear, and is the most affectionate boy. Everyone that knows and has experience with Rottweilers knows they are playful and gentle companions and are fiercely loyal to their family.

Found cold and alone on the street our boy Pete is looking for a family who is willing to give him a second chance at life.

When first meeting Pete he can be quite shy and timid, and young kids are too overwhelming for him, and he is looking for a family with secondary school-aged children or older.

At the moment, Pete has displayed signs of fear around other dogs and would need to be the only dog in the household. Pete's future adopters should be committed to managing him appropriately around other dogs (i.e. crossing the road/turning the other way to avoid approaching other dogs on walks and avoiding busy areas with lots of dogs such as off-lead dog parks).

Pete much prefers his human companions and loves nothing more than a butt scratch. As long as you are willing to be patient and slow with Pete he is sure to be the best cuddle buddy in no time.
