Macaroon

Meet Macaroon, affectionately known as Maccy is a sweet and gentle tiny sized cuddlebug. At just 2 years old and a tiny 4 kilos, wee little Macaroon is the perfect size “pocket pup” for a family seeking a tiny companion. This petite Jack Russell has shown remarkable transformation under the care of her foster family. Initially a little shy and nervous girl, Macaroon has blossomed into a loyal friend who loves showering her humans with kisses and cuddles. With a bit of patience and an abundance of love, she has become the ultimate companion.

Macaroon enjoys a balanced lifestyle, spending her days relaxing, taking leisurely walks, and running around in the backyard. She has bonded well with her foster fur sister, Sophia, although she remains cautious around larger dogs during walks. Her sense of curiosity makes her an explorer at heart, but she prefers having her humans close by. She loves playtime, especially if it involves chasing tennis balls, although she finds endless joy in holding onto them rather than giving them back!

New experiences can be overwhelming for Macaroon, so she needs gentle, baby steps to build confidence. In her foster home, she has shown a preference for snuggling indoors, either on her bed next to her foster parents or on the sofa. Friendly and affectionate, Macaroon is always ready to come over for pats, as long as there are no sudden movements or loud noises. At night, she snuggles into her doggie crate, sleeping soundly for 7-8 hours, though she sometimes expresses her desire to join her foster parents in their bed.

Macaroon is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and enjoys gentle, calm children. She is happiest in a setting that allows her to relax and feel safe, ideally with another small, quiet dog for companionship. She is gradually improving her obedience, particularly with walking on a lead, although she can get distracted by enticing smells. While she tolerates bath time, she isn’t a fan of the hair dryer.

Her ideal home would be in a quiet environment where someone shows her what family love is. If you can provide Macaroon with a patient, loving home, she will reward you with endless cuddles, loyalty, and joy. Patience is key as she adjusts to new settings, but her loving personality makes her worth the effort. Adoption Criteria

Maccy does need a little friend dog who is loving and gentle and definitely on the smaller size

A home with a secure little yard that is secure and had grass shade and shelter but she is more of the inside kinda girl

If children are in residence we would be seeking mature min school aged who are kind and gentle

A home that will love our little sweet princess for the rest of her life.
