About Morticia
Meet Morticia: The Enchanting Feline of the Addams Family!
In the shadowy corners of your home, where moonlight spills through lace curtains and the air shimmers with mystery, there dwells a creature of pure elegance-Morticia. With her bewitching medium-length tabby coat, so silken it could put the finest velvet to shame, and eyes that seem to hold secrets from the dark beyond, Morticia is a vision of gothic beauty.
This stunning feline loves nothing more than to be adored. Whether it's a gentle cuddle in the evening gloom or a soft pat under the watchful gaze of the moon, Morticia thrives on the affection and attention of her human companions. She's particularly fond of children who are gentle and patient, understanding that even a glamorous girl like Morticia needs time to settle into her new haunted manor.
By night, she dreams of sharing a pillow with you, curling up close as you drift off into the depths of sleep. By day, she enjoys weaving through the shadows, always near but never in the way, a comforting presence in the background of your life.
Morticia, true to her mysterious nature, gets along well with other cats, forming bonds like secret pacts whispered in the dead of night. For the family that welcomes her, she will be an enchanting and devoted companion, bringing a touch of Addams Family charm to your everyday life. Adopt Morticia, and let her cast her spell on your heart.
To book a meet and greet with Morticia please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
