About Bennie
Meet Bennie aka Bennie Boy or Handsome Little Guy!
Bennie is a bundle of love! He’s curious and a wee bit shy. When he gains confidence in an area, he's one determined guy! He's patient and loving and once he opens up to you, he'll show you his playful side. More than anything, he likes to take a little nap on his bed in the same room as his human.
If kisses could kill, Bennie would be a grade A assassin! He doesn’t like the rain and would much rather play indoor fetch or do an enrichment game or activity by your side whilst enjoying the mod cons of the home! He loves to walk when there’s another dog to sniff with. He’s your stereotypical couch potato grey!
Bennie would do well with full-time workers and even in an apartment. He’s okay with a few stairs. That said, with the right food as motivation, this clever pup might surprise you. Bennie is very clever, food-motivated and has made a lot of progress in a short time!
Bennie would love nothing more than to go on dates with his family and have cuddle sessions on the couch - Netflix and chill!

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid on on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support.
