Meet dapper senior gentleman Kingsley!
Kingsley is your typical 'bonsai' staffy. He is very affectionate and loves people, following his foster carer everywhere for pats and belly rubs.
Kingsley gets along with other dogs, although he more co-exists with them rather than being playful. Being an older chap he has lower energy and can often be found relaxing in the classic staffy 'sploot' position. He would be best suited to a home where his people are home more often than not, as he does get a bit of separation anxiety.
Kingsley can be a bit stubborn and cheeky, and may tend to some naughty behaviours like jumping up when he is excited and looking for attention, so he will need a home with firm boundaries. He is very food motivated, and with guidance and consistency these behaviours should be trained out of him. Kingsley has shown food aggression around other dogs, so it will be necessary for him to be fed separately should he go to a home with another dog. Due to this it is also best he goes to a home without young children.
If you're looking for an older chilled out fella that will be your constant shadow, look no further than Kingsley.
Kingsley is $200 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), C5 vaccinated and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
