About Ebony
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Ebony sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Allow us to introduce you to Ebony, a wonderful cat that is equal parts snack machine, curious sunseeker and couch potato....oh and she purrs like a tiny little jet engine!
Ebony’s curiosity leads to some silly antics, like sneaking a sip from your water glass or trilling like a rotary phone when she's excited! And if you need a laugh, just watch her zoom across the room while chirping—it's sure to bring a smile! Her favourite toys are wiggly; chasing string, exercise bands, or fingers scuttling under blankets or around the edge of furniture.
In perfect balance with her playful, inquisitive streak Ebony is also a sweet and calm companion. She loves cuddles with trusted people, seeking pats from your outstretched hand, enjoying gentle scratches on her face, and bops above her tail. She'll let you know how much she appreciates you with purrs that sound like a tiny motor car. Ebony also has healthy boundaries and will gently let you know when her cuddle-cup is full.
Ebony’s favourite things? Snacks, of course, are the way to her heart. She’ll be up before you, politely asking for breakfast, before finding a cozy spot to bask in the morning sun. After a quick zoom around the house, she’ll settle in near you, whether you're working, reading, or watching TV, always content to be close by. As dinner time rolls around, Ebony loves to enjoy her meal right alongside you, before hopping into bed for some cozy cuddles. This darling girl's daily routine is all about soaking up life's simple pleasures!
Ebony’s love for gentle companionship and cozy routines makes her the ideal cat for a calm, loving home. With her adorably short legs, big green eyes, and beautiful nature, she’s ready to be your snuggly, snack-driven sidekick!
Medical notes
Ebony loves her food, perhaps a little too much, and is currently benefitting from a weight management diet. When her coat changes with the seasons, Ebony sheds and sometimes has dandruff and itchiness. Regular brushing helps with this. A copy of Ebony's veterinary patient history is available for you to review before adoption.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
