Meet Ninja, a senior gentleman who truly embodies the mystique of his name. If you prefer the quiet, undemanding companionship that comes from a deep, mutual understanding, Ninja might just be the feline friend you’re looking for. Ninja doesn't enjoy meeting new people or being in new environments. This captivating feline takes his time to warm up and appreciate the subtleties of his surroundings, and he will need a patient and loving new family willing to give him the time and space to get comfortable.
Ninja likes attention on his terms, making him perfect for a cat-savvy individual who appreciates the unique and independent feline behaviors. Though he might get a bit snippy when overstimulated, he’s not aggressive. His “snippy” moments are simply a polite reminder that he needs a little space to cool down. Once Ninja settles in, he tends to focus solely on his trusted family members, showing little interest in meeting visitors. In a sense, Ninja is perfect for those who enjoy a quieter, more predictable home atmosphere.
While Ninja is admittedly a bit of a "nervous nelly," he can get along well with respectful dogs and potentially another gentle feline. However, given his disposition, he is not the right fit for homes with children.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
