About Luca
Its finally time to properly meet little Luca, and hopefully find his perfect family.
Little Luca and his equally adorable siblings Penny and Jimmy have given us all a few grey hairs since they arrived from the pound a few short weeks ago.
Parvo took hold of all 3 pups on arrival and gave them and us a terrifying time.
$12000 medical bills, the unwavering support of a whole village, and the devotion of 3 amazing foster families resulted in a miracle and all 3 are now fully recovered.
A testament to our mission of never giving up and every dog matters.
With momma Milly and sister Penny officially being foster fails and brother Jimmy finding his family through friends of his carer, we are just left with little Luca needing his happy ending to complete this Fairy Tale.
And when we say little – we mean little.
Luca is the smallest of the tribe currently weighing in at 2.33kg.
He is about 4 months old so has some growing to do but we very much expect him to remain a little boy.
There may be some Papillion, some corgi and goodness knows what else in his genes – but it’s a mixture of absolute cuteness.
But lets be clear here – he may be tiny, but he is a little stick of dynamite.
Luca is fast, full of life and an absolute delight of a puppy.
He adores rough and tumble with his furry foster siblings but is also an absolute love bucket of smooches.
He does not like being alone, so we are looking for a home with lots of company and preferably another fun and friendly dog for him to play with.
Luca is tiny but he is not a lapdog, he is an active bouncy pup who needs plenty of stimulation and freedom to run and play.
He is in foster care at Beachmere ( North Brisbane), his adoption fee is $795 and he is not available for Interstate adoption.
Luca is vaccinated to date - he has just had the 2nd of his 3 puppy injections – the 3rd is the responsibility of his adopter.
He is microchipped, up to date with his flea/worm treatments and clear of parvo.
His adoption fee includes desexing at one of our partner vets when he is 6 months old.
Luca does have a slight overbite that gives him no problems and just adds to his charm.
If you think you could be a perfect match for Luca and would like a meet and greet, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the wonderful life he could share with you.
We do expect a lot of interest in this little munchkin so please don’t be afraid to sell yourself.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
