About 🚨 Urgent: Rescue Hens from an egg farm 🫶
Get ready for another Rescue Hen Adoption Day! This time, we're coming to Warragul (VIC), and we can't wait to see you there! 🐔
Together we have a chance to rescue hens from an egg farm. Will you help?
How many hens we rescue is dependent on how many adopters open their homes and adopt today. Every hen that is adopted is a life that is saved.
If you have considered keeping hens or would like to add to your existing flock, now is the time.
Follow the instructions below to help save as many lives as possible:
💬 Connect with our Adoptions Team via message or send an email to info@tilthecowscomehome.org
📝 Complete a quick application form (this is to ensure the hens go to great homes)
🚗 Collect your rescue hens! 🐓 (this will be on the set day)
If you can't adopt, you can still help these hens spreading the word. 🐔🏡💙
Please note, hens are to be adopted as companions/pets. Forever homes only! As rescue hens are often kept in inadequate conditions, some may have health issues. These cases are a small percentage but please keep this in mind.
Medical notes
Typically, hens raised on egg farms don't live in the best of conditions and they may have health issues requiring extra care. The majority of the hens don't have any health issues, but sadly there is a small percentage that may be adopted undiagnosed. Any vet care that may be needed in the future is the responsibility of the adopter.
