About Phoebe
Meet Phoebe, the epitome of a lovable British Bulldog with a heart full of affection. She has an endearing, snuggly nature and simply adores being close to her humans, offering endless cuddles that promise to melt away any stress of the day. Whether it's a lazy afternoon on the couch or a playful romp around the yard, Phoebe is always ready to share her love and playful energy.
Phoebe is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, children, adults, cats—everyone she meets! Despite her typical British Bulldog build, which adds to her charm, Phoebe has an almost boundless zest for life, making her a joy to be around. She loves to play, whether it's a game of fetch or simply running around enjoying herself.
Although Phoebe needs some encouragement on the lead, her love for food makes her easy to train. With a bit of guidance, she’ll soon be walking beside you like a pro. She also needs some help with toilet training but is a fast learner who responds well to positive reinforcement.
If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who fits seamlessly into any family dynamic, Phoebe is the dog for you. In return for a bit of guidance and a lot of love, she will shower you with affection, brighten up your days with her playful spirit, and make every meal feel like a special event. Don’t miss the opportunity to welcome this delightful girl into your home where she will undoubtedly thrive and bring endless joy.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Phoebe had a cherry eye which has been surgically repaired and will not cause her any probems in the future.
She has also been desexed and had a scale and polish to make her smile white and bright (she also now has lovely doggy breath)
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
