Sarge is a 10 month old staffy x. He has a heart of gold and I mean just look at that face how could you not take him home with you .

He is such a darling boy with a lot of energy to spare so would definitely suit an active family who can keep up with his zoomies and his need to play fetch despite him not knowing that he has to give the ball back in order to play fetch. He has done amazing with “sit” and “stay” specifically at feed times and knows that he must wait for the “okay go eat” before he can go over to his food bowl.

He is good with other dogs but dogs would absolutely need to meet his energy levels so I would say he is more suited to a family with other young dogs or similar breeds. He is an extremely boisterous player and loves having a good wrestle but isn’t always amazing with sharing his toys.

He could be good with cats but would need extremely slow introductions and would need a dog tolerant cat!!

He does have a chewing habit so that will need some ongoing training.

We have been working on crate training and he is well and truly on the way there. He likes to have his food in his crate where he is sure no one can get it and he likes to have some blankets in there so he isn’t too sure about being locked up in a crate just yet.

He does need his humans around him a lot so would prefer someone who is home most of the time.

He doesn’t really respond to his name but does understand the command “come here” so name change could possibly happen for the right family if desired.ADOPTION LINK⬇️
