About Lola
Sadly Lola has been returned to Rescue Hub due to changes in her owners circumstances.
Lola is searching for a long-term foster carer or her forever home.
🐾 Breed: Bulldog x Boxer
🎂 Age: 3 years old
👧🏻 Gender: Female
🏥 Health: Desexed, vaccinated, worm & flea treated
🧒 Kids: 10yrs+ who are dog savvy
🐕 Dogs: Still learning socialisation skills so best suited as an only dog for now. No cats or birds
📍 Location: Currently in Moorebank, NSW
We first met Lola as a sad and moulnurished dog. She was used for breeding and gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies. There was no regard for her wellbeing, and she was left tied up on a chain with only concrete beneath her feet and no room to wander and explore.
To say we are extremely grateful to have been able to save her is an understatement.
This lively girl is always up for playtime - whether it be with her squeaky ball or long squishy snake, she will run around and pounce on her toys (showing off some very impressive downward dog yoga moves!).
She enjoys going out for her walks and having a good sniff of the outdoor spaces. Although a little eager to get ahead, Lola generally walks well on lead.
Among all else, Lola's absolute favourite activity is spending time with her humans! She is a complete softie who will steal your time and attention through the use of her perfect puppy dog eyes. Even though she can get quite excited from the sight of her people, she is a gentle girl who will jump up respectfully to say hello and give you lots of kisses 🥰
She will nuzzle her head into your lap for some good snuggles and scratches, and find a cosy spot beside you to take her afternoon naps (beware of the cuteness overload from her snoring 💤).
Lola is able to settle and entertain herself outside if you need to head off to work during the day. She is well behaved and does not destroy property. It would be absolutely fantastic if her human companions could include her inside as part of the family (after everything this girl has been through, she deserves to be pampered).
Lola is still working on her socialisation skills with other dogs. She will need commited, patient and understanding new guardians who can give her guidance and training in this area, to help build her confidence when out and about in the world. While she is still learning, we think it would be best for her to be an only dog in the home.
From what we have also seen during her time with us at the kennels, Lola would not be suitable in a home with any cats or birds, as she can become focused and can chase.
For a girl who has been through so much in her short life so far, Lola is incredibly accepting, open and responsive to human companions. She deserves her chance in a loving home.
Can you find room in your heart and home for Lola?? 💖
