Walter is a true travel enthusiast, making him the perfect companion for a retired person or couple who loves to hit the road for some new sightseeing. His excellent car manners ensure smooth and enjoyable journeys, no matter the destination. Though he loves his walks and outdoor time, Walter is equally content curling up close to his favorite human. His loyalty is unparalleled, and while he isn't overly affectionate with constant snuggles, his adorable 'air licks' show his deep affection and trust.

Training sessions have become a favorite part of Walter’s routine, and he's proving that, indeed, you can teach an old dog new tricks. His quick learning and enjoyment in these sessions make him a delightful companion who's always eager to please. This little guy thrives in an environment where he’s not left alone for too long, as he cherishes the companionship and attention of his human family.

Walter prefers the solo spotlight in his home, not being overly fond of sharing his space with other dogs, though he is getting much better at interacting with them during walks or outings. He has been cat-tested and could potentially share his space with a feline friend. His new home should include a securely fenced yard where he can explore safely to his heart's content.

Rest assured, Walter's health is well taken care of as he is desexed, C5 vaccinated, and up-to-date with flea, tick, and worming treatments. Walter also underwent a recent dental with 12 teeth removed, so you will not need to worry about his dental health for quite a while.
