Introducing the one and only Izzy, also known as Izzy Busy Bum here at the shelter! She is a breathtaking beauty with a personality just as striking as her looks. Whether it's her sleek, glossy coat or her mesmerizing eyes, Izzy has a way of capturing your attention from the moment you meet her. But her charm isn't just skin-deep - this girl has a heart of gold and an incredible love for life.
Izzy is quite the conversationalist! One of her favorite pastimes is chatting with her humans. When you come home from a long day at work, she'll be there to greet you, eager to tell you all about the day she spent lounging by the window, watching the world go by. Birds, squirrels, and neighbors alike provide her with endless entertainment, and she'll be more than happy to share the latest updates with you.
Her sociable nature extends beyond just people - Izzy is also wonderfully cat-friendly and gets along well with other felines. She enjoys having company and would do well in a multi-cat household, where she can have a companion to hang out with. If you have children, she'd be happy to join a family with respectful kids who understand how to be gentle and kind to cats. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
