About Gary
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Gary is very much a playful puppy, loves walks and is very social at the doggy park.
Gary did not have the best start to life coming to us from a large breeding facility in a rural area where he lived in a kennel environment.
As such Gary had not had any socialisation in the outside world and experience living in a home environment. Gary has come such a long way over the last 3 months and is now ready to find a home of his own.
He now loves being around his humans, is super cuddly and will "plonk" on you any chance he gets. He plays really well with his temporary "step sister" Tilly, who is also a cavoodle (4 years old).
Gary is still learning that he will have more fun if he returns the ball, but enjoys chasing after it regardless.
Gary needs a home that has another well adjusted and friendy small dog/dogs as he takes confidence from having another dog to follow.
Gary has learned how to get in and out of the doggy door and goes outside to do his business! Of course, your home will be a new environment so it is important that you set him up to succeed with house training using only positive reward-based training. Advice can be given if needed.
He is such a beautiful natured boy who will continue to develop in the world outside of kennels provided his new owner has time to give and spend with him
If you would like to meet Gary, send us some details on yourself, home environment, lifestyle/working hours away from home, your dog and other pets (if any), your family members, your daily activity level, Gary's potential alone time, home access, contingency plans for when you're away, and your ability to cover vet expenses. Plus, any other details that may assist in a successful adoption.
