Broccoli is the perfect companion for those who are after a mature dog who already has some manners & is past the puppy stage!

After spending 9 months in the pound, Broccoli has been thriving in foster care!
We don’t know how this beautiful big boof was overlooked for so long, he is such a character!

Broccoli is a very affectionate boy who just wants to be with his people; whether it’s gardening, hanging the washing, watching tv (ideally on your lap, or as close to it as possible), going out for a walk- he’ll be right there with you like a shadow.
Broccoli is still learning when it comes to being inside, and sleeps inside in a crate overnight- he's fine in there for 10-12hrs!

Broccoli is VERY food motivated and loves the tiny puppy training treats- he is currently mastering off lead recall where he will come back to his name or a whistle and sit for a treat upon his return.

He walks really well on the lead without pulling, travels very well in the car, and also sits beautifully and waits for his food; he will very gently take treats from you, and is very quick to pick up on routines within the household.

Broccoli loves toys and playing tug of war. He’s not a fan of fetch but loves his rope toys.
Zoomies are also a favourite past time- he’s a very happy boy and loves running on the grass.

Broccoli is currently on a property with other dogs & pups, sheep, cows, ducks and chickens, and has found that poultry is boring, sheep are for chasing, and cows are a bit rude because they’d rather eat than play with him… yes, he’s tried!
He’s also living with 2 primary aged children and adores them.

Broccoli is looking for a home where most of all, he will be loved and adored.
He would love a home with a doggy friend, or if he was to be an only dog, someone who is home quite a bit and fairly active- he loves his daily walks!
He has been fine on his own during the day when needed, he’s happy as long as he has a bone to chew or a friend to play with.

If you’re after a companion who is a good boy with a goofy personality, then Broccoli would love to meet you!
