A Hebrew name meaning ‘shadow', and she lives up to her name.

Zillah is a beautiful, intelligent girl overflowing with love to share. Her time at the pound and disruption to the home she knew has caused some separation anxiety, particularly when she can't see her foster family, but this has improved over the time she has spent with her foster family.

She thrives in a home where her humans are present most of the time, or with a companion dog to keep her company when they are away. While Zillah used to spend most of her time indoors, she's now enjoying playing outside with the resident dog.

Zillah is dog and rabbit friendly, but has a preference for humans and loves following her foster mum around. She loves children however, her excitement can cause her to jump up when greeting people and would not suit a home with elderly residents or kids who aren’t confident around dogs.
Despite this, she settles down quickly and can be easily redirected with food or favourite toy.

Under the guidance of her foster mum, and following the resident dog’s lead, Zillah has made great strides in improving her manners. She is toilet trained, crate trained and knows basic commands but ongoing training for mental stimulation and regular grooming will be essential for her new family.

Daily walks are a must otherwise she can get bored and will find her own fun by digging in the garden. She walks well on a leash, but putting on her harness is an Olympic sport. This girl loves to twirl when excited 🩰

She is also obsessed with water, so don’t leave the bathroom door open if you want the bathe alone 😂
