About Lachie
Lachie is a small Fox terrier (miniature) who has had a rough time recently. He lived with his siblings, but sadly was attacked by a larger dog who got into their yard. His family could not afford the vet fees, so he was surrendered to the vet and from their we were asked to help him.
His wounds are now completely healed, so he is now ready to find his forever home.
His carers really love him, but they are working longer hours than was anticipated, and Lachie needs to have company for at least some of the day, so he now needs to find a more suitable home.
Lachie has already received training and he is progressing well, he just needs to continue to follow the training program in place, he will certainly make a wonderful companion.
Lachie can already: sit/stay/wait/lay down and roll over.
His lead training is a work in progress, but he can mostly walk by your side, but he does become excited when he sees another dog, so more work is needed in this area.
Lachie will need to have someone home for some of the day. At the moment he can be left for up to 3-4 hours, but he will need someone home to break up the day. He is crate trained, and is happy to use the doggy door for when he needs to go outside. He does not destroy anything in the house, and he loves his stuffed toys.
