About Nada
Nada is a mixture of cattle dog and kelpie - so a very active dog. She is 5 years old, desexed, vaccinated, tick and flea treated. Definitely over the puppy stage but still young enough to have many good years left to be enjoyed. She is in good health with no issues reported.
She was very much loved by her owner who sadly passed away unexpectedly.
We are told Nada is not a boredom barker, does not dig or try to escape her yard. She will need a medium-sized yard so that she has plenty of room to run around in. She is happy being the only dog in the home, so we are looking for a one-dog family to adopt her. Daily exercise of at least half an hour, twice a day - the more the better! This breed combination is very active, needs an active owner. She loves chasing her balls, would thrive exercising in a park where she can chase the ball - she has good recall and is currently learning new commands - she is highly intelligent and will thrive with an experienced owner. Given time to get to know her owner, she will give unconditional love and make a beautiful family pet. She can be an inside dog, will happily go to her bed, as long as she has access to outside at all times. She has shown us she has a gentle temperament, no aggression or mouthing. In summary: a very worthwhile family pet, also suitable for an active retiree who wants a loving companion to spend their day with.
Good secure fencing is a must for every dog, and colourbond is our preferred choice but any good solid fencing would be okay.
Nada is ready to go to her new home right away, so if you think you could give her the life she deserves, Midcoast Dog Rescue would love you to contact them.

.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
