Meet Basil, a delightful Maremma x Border Collie mix bursting with energy and affection. Basil is curious by nature, loves to explore, and thrives in environments where he has plenty of room to roam. Given his breed mix, he will ne suitable for a hobby farm or working lifestyle, so please thoroughly research both breeds before applying.

Basil can't wait to meet new people, and his welcoming spirit shines through in the cuddles and kisses he freely offers. He's incredibly intelligent and quick to learn, making training sessions both fun and rewarding. Though he can be a bit shy in new environments, his curiosity quickly takes over, leading him on new adventures. His independent streak means he loves spending time playing in the yard with his toys, but he's equally excited about making new friends—whether they are human or canine. While he has only seen one cat at the vet and was completely unphased, his interactions with pocket pets or livestock remain untested.

Throughout the day, Basil exhibits bursts of high energy, especially in the morning and evening, when he needs ample stimulation through people, toys, and activities. However, once his energy is spent, he's quite content to nap for long periods and sleeps wonderfully through the night. Although he hasn't yet spent time with children, judging by his siblings' demeanor, Basil is expected to do well with kids of all ages. He's a friendly, adventurous pup who's ready to bring joy and excitement to his new family's life.
