Hi I’m Taffy and just like my name I am super sweet.
I arrived to the rescue in August 2024 when I arrived I was unwell and my foster mum nursed me back to health.
I’m a shy girl to begin with if you come and visit me I will instantly run and hide but once I get to know you and feel comfortable I’m actually a cheeky quirky girl.
I’m comfortable with the other cats in my home and like to play and snuggle with them but am also comfortable on my own.
I have great skills I can destroy a cardboard box or bag with ease, brilliant at catching flies and love sleeping in your freshly folded washing.
I’m not so much a lap cat but I love to be where ever you are on the couch, snuggling on the bed and just following you from room to room.
The only one thing to know about me that as a result to my rocky start to life I do have weepy eyes. The vet has checked them out and given the ok I will just always have weepy eyes it doesn’t bother me so I hope it won’t bother you.
I’m seeking a forever home with a family that has the patience to give me the time and space to settle. My foster mum tells me how special I am everyday but I would love my own forever home to grow old in.
If you would like to meet me please email fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or PM Silver Lining Pet Rescues Facebook Page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
