These guys have come from a very loving home, and boy you can tell! Unfortunate victims of the housing crisis, this mother and son bonded pair, are well adjusted, well trained and full of LOVE.
They show typical Jack Russel traits. They love to burrow under blankets, play with balls/squeaky toys, and love to go on walks. They will require a minimum of two, 20 to 30 minute walks each day. They like to make themselves known to human and furry passers-by, whether it's to say hello or leave me alone 🙂 They are dog social, but prefer polite dogs that allow them time to adjust, before being approached.
They are 11 and 9 years of age. Bridget will rub her little foxy face against yours and will steal your heart in an instant. She will need humans that will give her the affection she needs, and deserves. Barry will look for his mum for reassurance often, and takes him longer to trust his new surroundings and his new humans. Once he does, he'll be snuggling at your feet and giving you his adorable puppy dog eyes. They both jump for joy when you get the leads out and when you arrive home. They are great on lead and their recall is amazing off lead in familiar places.
They could suit full time workers, but only if a routine of play and exercise can be established before and after work. If you do have a busy work life, you will need to ensure furry family time is the priority at knock off. These guys aren't 'stay at home' lap dogs, they need stimulation and plenty of opportunities to sniff new places and go on adventures. They would suit a settled couple or a small family with children 7 and older. They would make the perfect companion animals and can see them becoming inseparable with a caring family. They are honestly an absolute joy to be around.
Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pets are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).
