Are you looking for a typical beagle to welcome into your life? Look no further than Gilbert!

Gilbert is an expert sniffer, ready to see if you smell like his new adopter. He enjoys exploring his surroundings and meeting new people. Gilbert can't wait to get into his new home and go on adventures with his new family!

Gilbert doesn't have many trained skills, but he can sit (when he wants to!). He is an extremely clever boy and we're sure with further training he will be mastering skills in no time.

Gilbert has spent some time in foster care and come back to the shelter with excellent reviews! Gilbert's carers have said that he was a lovely boy, who enjoyed the company of his human companions. He was known to love his blanket and chicken. Gilbert also had some cat-like tendancies in the home, trying to sit on the windowsill and look out at the world. He also liked to steal socks like any silly young dog!

Gilbert isn't fond of young children or living with other dogs, so will need to be the only dog in the household and live with adults only. Gilbert wants to be the centre of his new family, could that be with you?
