Dusty is a charming doggo who’s ready to find his home!

This sweet pup has captured our hearts with his affectionate nature and boundless energy. He absolutely loves cuddles and would happily spend all day by your side. Personal space isn’t really his thing yet, he has so much love to give and wants you to know how much he adores you...all the time.

Dusty enjoys daily walks, ideally an hour or more, and has a blast chasing and chewing on his ball toys. Dusty is currently working on his training, and while he can get a bit excited, his eagerness to learn and please is heartwarming.

Though he can be frightened by loud noises like vacuums or hair dryers, Dusty has been a model housemate when left alone, with no accidents or destructive behavior.

He’s friendly with neighborhood kids and is growing in confidence interacting with other dogs. Ongoing socialisation and training will greatly benefit him. He is drawn to calmer, older dogs to guide him. Dusty looking for a loving family that can offer him plenty of exercise, treats, and, most importantly, snuggles. I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
