About Halle
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Halle must go to a home that has another small well-adjusted friendly dog/dogs, no exceptions. Please do not apply if you do not have another dog
Halle will need a quiet home where she can decompress and not become anxious by loud noises or lots of human visitors.
Halle has come from a large commercial breeding facility where she was kenneled, therefore did not get the usual socialisation with people or the outside world.
Halle's foster carer has been working with her slowly over the last 3 months and she is to a stage now where she is excited to go walking in quieter areas and meet other friendly dogs. Halle will need a home where she can continue to get out each day with her canine sibling for comfort/confidence.
Halle's has also progressed to sitting/cuddling on the couch and on the bed, this must be on her terms and Halle's foster carer does not look to push Halle any further than she can go with these interactions.
Halle will continue to improve with human contact over the coming months, she has really come a long way in a relatively short period of time with slow, force-free training and being given the space to choose what she wants to do where it relates to human contact. It is important that Halle's new owner must be patient, kind and not look to overwhelm her as this could set her back a long way.
Halle likes to sleep on the bed at night but also has a dog bed for when she chooses to sleep there.
Halle must be permitted to sleep in the bedroom and on the bed and the couch if she wants.
As noted, Halle needs a quieter home so is not suitable for a home with children under the age of 16
