Meet Tracy: Ready for Her Furever Home!

We’re searching for someone special to welcome Tracy into their heart and home. Tracy came to us from Ballarat Pound as a stray in May 2024. When we first met her, she was a shell of herself—covered in Demodex mites, hairless, and suffering from severe skin infections (see video).
At just 9.6kg, we couldn’t even determine her breed or age. But despite her rough start, we knew we had to help this little fighter.

Fast forward three months, and Tracy has made an incredible recovery. Her coat has come in beautifully, her infections are healed, and her sweet personality has started to shine. Now, she’s ready to find her forever home.

About Tracy:

Tracy is a brave little survivor who has been through more than most dogs ever will. After possibly spending three months alone on the streets, she will always be alert and aware of her surroundings. New people, cars, and unfamiliar places make her cautious, so she’ll need some time to adjust to her new environment. Tracy will thrive in a calm household with a confident male dog who can help her settle in. She will also do well with someone who is home often and can spend one-on-one time with her, if no resident dog.

What Tracy Needs:

Patience and understanding will be key as Tracy learns to trust again. She’ll need clear boundaries to help her find her place within the family. Once she feels safe, Tracy is an absolute sweetheart—playful, loving, and always up for cuddles.
