Luna

Our little Luna looks like she's been left behind. Despite all the love and happiness this girl has to give, nobody looks like they are wanting to give her the home and family she so desperately wants.

Her start to life was terrible. Chained to a star picket, collar so tight it was cutting in to her neck, starving, no shelter.... the list goes on.

But we were happy to help this little girl and saved her, got her healthy, loved her as much as we could, but sadly we have to keep telling her that another week goes by and no adoption enquiries for her.

This little girl is a real sweetheart and just wants to be with her humans. She loves other dogs but they don't always seem to love her bouncy personality. She is full of energy and fun and curiosity.

Some commands and manners have been learned - she sits on command, is learning "quiet time", recall is 50/50.

Once thing we have noticed is that Luna responds much better to a male. She loves her foster mums but we have noticed when her foster dad says "Luna" she comes immediately and always looks for the dad.

We think Luna is a Border Collie x Rottweiler and she is just beautiful, soft and fluffy. She probably won't be too large when fully grown.

Luna gets along with everyone and is very social and plays happily with all other dogs. As with any puppy, Luna is going through stages and will need ongoing training in relation to all of the normal puppy behaviours.
