About Vinnie
Meet Vinnie, our exuberant Labrador pup who's eagerly searching for an active and attentive new family to call his own. At just 9 months old, Vinnie is a lively young boy who weighs 24 kg and has recently been desexed. He has a bundle of energy and unlimited curiosity, making him an ideal companion for an active household that loves to engage in outdoor adventures or playtime.
Vinnie thrives on mental and physical activity and can become destructive if he gets bored or doesn't receive enough attention. He's currently in a placement with ample stimulation, but he still shows signs of boredom. This is not due to any lack of enthusiasm on his part but because of his sharp mind and boundless energy. With the right structure and outlets, Vinnie is sure to channel his zest for life into being a wonderful, engaging companion.
Vinnie is great with kids of all ages and knows how to balance his playful nature with calm cuddles. Ideally, he would thrive in a home with another dog that matches his energy level. Vinnie also gets along well with calm and confident cats, adding to his dynamic social skills. It's important to note that Vinnie's instinct when frustrated is to bark, but with consistent routine and training, this behavior can be managed effectively.
As a food-driven pup with a tendency to scavenge, Vinnie will need a home that can manage his diet to ensure he stays healthy and fit. One of his quirks is his love for sleeping in a crate at night, and we would love to see this continue in his new abode. It's crucial that Vinnie resides in a residential setup, as he was surrendered from a rural property after chasing sheep.
Vinnie is not only a joyful and energetic boy but also a happy one who will bring immense joy to the right family. Currently in board and train with a professional dog trainer, Vinnie has shown great progress in his placement. He is fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated, desexed, and microchipped, making him ready to join a loving family.
If you believe your home can meet Vinnie's needs and provide him with the active, love-filled life he deserves, please email us at phoenixarh@outlook.com. Tell us about your family, including ages and any other pets, and how your home setup can accommodate an enthusiastic pup like Vinnie.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
