Located in Red Hill, Memphis is eagerly waiting to join a family who can appreciate his gentle nature and adorable quirks.
Memmy is the epitome of the perfect little man—you'll be instantly smitten by his warm and friendly demeanor. He's a social butterfly who gets along beautifully with cats, dogs, and children, making him an excellent addition to a family home. Plus, he's fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, so you can rest assured that he's in excellent health with no current issues.

He LOVES company, loves people and needs someone home a lot. He loves other dogs.
At the end of the day, Memmy loves nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap or snuggling by your side. His affectionate nature and smart personality make him an irresistible companion. If you're looking for a furry friend who's as loyal as he is lovable, Memmy is sure to be your perfect match.
For an adoption fee of $695, you can bring this wonderful dachshund into your life and enjoy the endless joy and affection he has to offer. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome Memmy into your home—where he'll surely steal your heart and become a cherished member of your family.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
