We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Lucy sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

She's low-maintenance but full of character—especially when food is involved! Her excitement around meal times is absolutely adorable; you'll often hear her cute little "mew mew" noises as if she’s reminding you that food time is the highlight of her day. In the mornings, she’ll hop onto your lap and eagerly check if the sun is out, as if to ask, "Does this mean it’s breakfast time?"

Once her belly’s full, Lucy’s happy to curl up for a rest, only to reappear later with a loving rub against your legs when the next meal is near. She loves to sit close by—whether on your lap or next to you on the couch, she’s always within reach for a little companionship. When the lights go out, she’ll likely snuggle up beside you, a quiet little presence that will steal your heart.

Lucy shows her affection in her own unique ways—rubbing against your legs, offering a gentle lick to your hand, and once she trusts you, she might even roll over for a belly rub (and trust us, she loves them).
