Slick is a bright-eyed, eager-to-please 8-month-old Kelpie who's ready to find her forever family! Full of energy and love, Slick has a zest for life that shines through in everything she does. She loves nothing more than running along the beach, where her excellent recall lets her enjoy her freedom while staying close to her people.

Slick is currently living in an apartment and doing great—she’s adaptable, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. She loves her foster dog brother and would do well in a home with a patient mentor dog, but she’s also happy as the star of the show if she's the only pet. Slick loves her people and is a cuddle bug at heart, always ready for snuggles and kisses.

While she’s enthusiastic about exploring, Slick is still learning her lead manners and will need someone dedicated to helping her grow. She already knows how to sit, stay, and drop, and with her intelligence and drive, she’d thrive in agility training or any active pursuit. Slick is responsive to correction and eager to keep learning, making her a wonderful companion for someone ready to continue her basic training journey.
