About Dixie
Dixie is a lively and affectionate 7 year old girl, who thrives on connection and affection.
She's at her best when surrounded by people, children, and the outdoors. Whether strolling through the park or playing with her toys, Dixie is a constant source of delight. Her most favourite thing to do is play with the water hose, jumping and chasing the stream of water with excitement.
Dixie is overcoming her nervousness around unfamiliar dogs, birds, and loud noises through training. She's not a fussy eater and will enjoy anything given to her.
Dixie loves to sleep at the bottom of your bed, though she has her own dog bed.
She prefers older dogs similar in age, but best suited as the only dog in the house.
Dixie loves cuddles and at times likes to sit quietly on her own. She’s best not to be left alone, until she settles into her forever home.
Medical notes
Six year old Dixie is desexed and microchipped. She is up to date with vaccinations as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Dixie has recently had a dental scale and polish, and lost 4 teeth. We recommend she has regular dental checks.
