About Shadie (Assisted Rehome)
Meet Shadie, a beautiful boy who is searching for a serene sanctuary to call his own. Shadie is a gentle soul who thrives in a tranquil environment, and he loves nothing more than being with his human companions and receiving affectionate pats. Currently, his living situation with four young children is causing him quite a bit of stress, and as a result, his behavior has been affected.
Shadie is a loving cat, but he needs a quiet and calm home to decompress and return to his normal, sweet self. Given his anxious nature, Shadie would do best with an experienced cat person who understands the needs of sensitive felines. He is strictly an indoor-only cat, ensuring his safety and well-being while helping him feel more secure.
This special boy is looking for a family without young children, where he can relax and be the center of attention. We are committed to assisting any potential family in helping Shadie adjust to his new home and navigate the journey of restoring his confidence and happiness.
We are not sure how he would cope with other cats as he was with one once and he was a bit dominant towards him. Has not been around dogs. Best home would be with no other cats or children

Medical notes
Shadie is currently over grooming which we think is due to stress. This is causing hair loss, and some sores.
We have been in contact with his vet and will be able to support any potential new owner with getting him back to his normal self
He has been peeing in wrong areas as well but it is believed this is due to his very stressful environment.
