About Brutus
Meet Brutus, a large, 1-year-7-month-old American Staffy mix with a heart as big as his size! Brutus has lived with other dogs in the past and has done well when meeting new dogs at the shelter. Pending a successful meet and greet, he would be suitable to live with another dog.
Brutus is good with kids and friendly when meeting new people, easily winning hearts wherever he goes. He’s a big fan of fetch and enjoys a fun game, but he’s also happy to kick back and watch TV with his family. Despite his love for lounging, Brutus is a bit overweight, so he could use some extra exercise and portion control to get back to a healthier weight.
In his previous home, Brutus was left alone for more than 10 hours a day, so he’s accustomed to long periods alone, making him well-suited for full-time workers. He’s a loving and loyal companion who just wants to be part of a family again. If you’re looking for a big, gentle boy with lots of love to give, Brutus is your guy!
