About Buddy
Meet Buddy, a large, five-year-old, three-month-old male German Shepherd cross-Siberian Husky. Buddy is a bit taller than your average Shepherd, and despite his size, he has a gentle, empathetic nature. He’s great with dogs, having lived with one in his previous home where they got along beautifully. Buddy’s a bit timid and avoidant at first, but he’s never shown any aggression. At the shelter, he’s been a little shut down, taking time to warm up to people, but we’ve been told he was a different dog at home—confident, loyal, and loving.
Buddy is excellent with kids, has lived with them before, and is even OK with cats. His calm and gentle demeanor makes him great for families, and he’s particularly empathetic. He has a unique habit of sensing when someone is upset and will quietly come over, sitting with them and offering comfort.
In his previous home, Buddy was left alone for more than 10 hours a day, so he’s well-suited to a full-time worker. He may need a little time to get used to new surroundings and people, but with patience and love, he’ll surely come out of his shell. Buddy is desexed and ready to find his forever family. Could you be the one to give him the love and stability he’s waiting for?

Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours if we have notice. Please call us to arrange a time.
