About Bubba
In 2024 Bubba went through three homes! Please give this affectionate girl a safe place to land with lots of time to cuddle with her.
Bubba was found as a juvenile suffering from PMV - once recovered she turned into a lovely friendly gal and loves kisses and cuddles.
Due to the residual effects from the virus, Bubba sometimes has trouble eating in new and stressful environments, so it is crucial that she is monitored so she doesn’t accidentally starve herself. Because of this factor, Bubba would like a home where there is no young children, or other pets.
Bubba does not do well with other pigeons and would benefit from being in an environment where she could be the singular companion pigeon for someone wanting love 24/7. 😊
Medical notes
Post-PMV/Paramyxovirus - may require handfeeding (popping seeds into her mouth) whilst she adjusts to a new home. PMV is known to generally shorten lifespans and increase the likely hood of internal organ disease/disfunction/failure. (Although she has been screened clear for those as of now.)
