About Finn
Meet Finn, a stunning 1-year and 4-month-old female Red Roan Cattle Dog with a heart full of love and a unique stumpy tail! Finn is a loyal and affectionate girl who thrives on human companionship and is eager to learn. Though she may be a little shy when meeting new people, once she feels comfortable, her sweet and friendly nature shines through.
Finn enjoys long walks and has a playful energy that makes her the perfect adventure buddy. She will need ongoing training to help her grow into the best version of herself, so a family dedicated to working with her would be ideal. She gets along well with other dogs and would love to have a furry friend to hang out with.
Due to her adventurous spirit, Finn requires very secure fencing. A home where someone can be with her most of the time or take her along as a tradies dog would make her happiest!
Ideal for families with children over 8 years old, Finn is a fun and loving companion who would thrive with their help in her training. With her loyal personality and energetic nature, Finn is ready to join a family that can give her the love, attention, and guidance she deserves.
To book a meet and greet with Finn please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
