About Walt
Introducing Walt!
Walt is a domestic short hair born approx 7th March 2023.
Walt was brought to the facility in a cat carrier & left at our gate overnight with no information on him. He was kept at the facility in the hopes an owner would come forward, however it appears that it may have been the owner who dumped him at our facility. When he originally arrived we believed him to be a kitten (approx 6 months) as he is quite small, however upon further investigation we've estimated him to be about 18 months old. This means you get the best of both worlds.. the love of an adult cat, with the looks of a kitten.
Walt is an incredibly sweet boy who can be quite the chatterbox. He's very affectionate and will follow you everywhere if given the opportunity. There has been a few occasions where we have caught him laying on his back "swimming" to try to get your attention and boy does it work. He is absolutely adorable & we've all fallen in love with him.
Unfortunately Walt hasn't tested well with other cats, so he will need to be the only animal at home.
Walt is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
Walt will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only.
If you think you could be that furever family for Walt, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Walt's adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Walt is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
