About Ellabee
Meet Ellabee, a truly stunning 1-year-old tabby and white cat who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. With her soft fur and striking markings, she's the kind of cat that turns heads, but it's her sweet and loving personality that really wins hearts. Ellabee is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, always ready to be by your side, whether it's curling up next to you on the couch or happily following you around, eager for some loving attention.
This gentle girl is incredibly social and thrives in a home where she can be close to her family. She adores people and isn't shy about showing it, greeting you with purrs and affection every chance she gets. Ellabee is not just a people-lover, though-she also gets along wonderfully with other cats and would be delighted to share her space with a feline friend. Her friendly and easygoing nature means she's quick to adapt to new companions, making her a perfect addition to a multi-cat household.
Ellabee is great with kids, too! She's happy to live in a home with children of any age, but she likes to meet them first to make sure they're gentle and respectful of her space. Once she's comfortable, she'll be their best friend, offering endless purrs and snuggles.
If you're looking for a cat who's not only stunningly beautiful but also full of love and affection, Ellabee is the perfect choice. She's a loyal companion who will bring warmth and joy to any home, always eager to be part of the family and share her love with everyone she meets. Whether it's playing with a toy, lounging in the sun, or being your constant companion, Ellabee is ready to bring endless happiness and charm into your life.
To book a meet and greet with Ellabee please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
