About Ruby
Ruby is a gorgeous 6 year old French Bulldog looking for her forever home.
Ruby while young is a little old lady who loves nothing more than to snuggle on her humans laps for hours and hours. Ruby is a snuggle bunny!
Ruby will be her humans shadow she would happily be with you 24/7 - she does not have separation anxiety - she just loves to snuggle. Ruby is always curious and will follow you wherever you go, she will do a little prance as she tries to keep up with you on those little legs of hers.
Ruby would love to have a life where someone is home more often than not, retired or works from home so she can hang out with them, she loves keeping her humans company and at the end of the day having a good cuddle on the couch.
Ruby has retired from breeding and is now ready to be a love bug on her own
Ruby loves to potter around in the garden thru the day but also have access to inside at any time she wants to go back in. Ruby would not be a girl who will spend all her day outside, she very much loves the freedom of inside and outside and of course a soft dog bed to snooze her day away after she has spent some time with her humans.
Ruby is toilet trained
Ruby foster mum says that she came into their home and was so settled and content within minutes it was like she had been there forever – she is just such a love bug.
Ruby is great with other dogs and if a human lap is not available for snuggling she is happy to share a dog bed with another furchild.
Ruby loves to go to the beach and dips her feet into the water or just walk thru the edge of the water with the water at her feet.
Ruby also loves to go for a walk (weather permitting for her breed)
Ruby approaches life with love, gusto and happiness!
Ruby bonds very quickly with her humans, is extremely affectionate and loving and just wants to be part of the family.
Ruby is not tested with cats
If you are looking for a new friend who just makes you smile and your heart swell - this is the girl!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
