About Kermit
Meet Kermit: The Happiest Dog in the World!
Kermit is an endlessly joyful and enthusiastic dog who truly embodies happiness. Whether it's a walk, meeting new people, or even a visit to the vet, Kermit greets everything with his trademark excitement and a wagging tail.
Storms? They don’t bother him one bit. He’s easygoing about most things, including wearing the "cone of shame" which he turned into a total fashion moment, after his recent vet visit. Kermit enjoys his meals but isn’t overly obsessed with food. He’s also a fan of a cozy weekend lie-in.
A lovely blend of breeds, Kermit has all the charm of a pug with the stamina and good health of a jack russell. He is a sporty little dude with a love of adventure and is ready to make himself a permanent resident of an active and fun family.
My Ideal Home: Kermit thrives in environments where he can be around people or other dogs. He’s great with families and individuals who can dedicate time and attention to him. He’d do best with someone patient who can help him with some training. Kermit hasn’t been tested with cats, so a cat-free home or one with introductions would be ideal.
Energy Level: I have a lot of energy but I also love to snuggle up with my person for a rest. I’m always ready for playtime but equally enjoy some downtime with my favorite human.
Suitability to Children: I absolutely adore children and am very gentle with them. I never bite and am always excited to play and be around kids.
Suitability to Other Pets: I’m currently living with a Border Collie and we get along great. I love saying hi to all the dogs I meet at the park. I’m friendly and social with other dogs. I haven’t been tested with cats, so a home without cats or one where I can be introduced properly would be best.
Fun Fact: Kermit is so happy and well-adjusted that he even enjoyed his visit to the vet for a procedure! He said hi to everyone there and made the best of his day, bringing smiles all around. He loves playing tug of war with his Border Collie friend and is always up for some fun.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
