Maggie - 2 Year Old Shepherd X Rottweiler (Trial)

Sweet, smart and a little bit silly, Miss Maggie is the perfect example of a wonderful rescue girl.

Miss Maggie is a sweetheart; she is gentle and quiet, and LOVES playing with kids and other dogs. She is house trained and will sit when asked. Her playful little gallop is so joyful you can’t help but want to join in. She is treat motivated and will learn any command quickly. Maggie likes to hang out with other doggie friends and play with toys. Her favourite is a squeaky chicken which she is happy to share with other doggy friends.

Like most pups coming into foster care, Maggie can be a little weary of new people and likes to quietly take in her surroundings before she will feel comfortable to come for a pet or cuddle. She is super gentle with children and has not shown any hint of aggression or food guarding behaviour despite meeting many new people in a short time. She has been tested with tiny dogs, cats, kids and also for lead reactivity. All of which she passed with flying colours.

Maggie will be best suited to a family who already has a friendly dog in residence. She would like a good sized yard to play in and someone who is home more often than not. She will need daily walks and a brush, and lots of cuddles and is happy to enjoy any of these things with you anytime you wish.

Maggie will make a brilliant addition to a loving home with a family committed to her ongoing training. She has been enjoying a mix of fresh and cooked food and premium kibble with her carers and would like to continue with this.

Maggie is in care in Sydney, NSW, and is available for interstate adoption. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
