About Trey
Meet Trey, a sweet boy with a heartwarming story despite his tough start. He was found wandering the streets of Boronia Heights, where a kind couple spotted him, befriended him so that they were able to catch him. Poor Trey had been getting roughed up by local street cats, as he hadn’t been desexed and had developed the rounded jowls that give male cats a permanently sad look, though he’s anything but sad now. Since joining Little Paws Kitten Rescue, he’s embraced the cozy indoor life and has shown no interest in going outside again.
Now, let’s talk about Trey’s lovable personality. This gentle boy has a soft spot for cooked chicken and biscuits. His foster carer has a hard time resisting his sad, soulful eyes, often cooking him special meals when he looks up at her with that irresistible face. He’s certainly got her wrapped around his paw! He has the happiest paws, that do not stop kneading when you talk to him, he does this so much you can see it in his photos if you look closely.
Trey enjoys curling up on a chair next to his foster carer, and if laundry is piled on his favourite spot, he’ll contort himself into an awkward position until she moves it for him. He loves to sleep on the bed and will start the night curled up at the end of the bed and then stealthily over the course of the evening he will end up snuggled up into you closer to your head. He has the sweetest low purr, that you can only hear when you have your face close to his body or while you are patting him, but he turns it on quite often.
He is a quieter cat who would love a home that he can curl up and sleep the day away. Although Trey spends most of his time lounging around like the king, don't be fooled—when the mood strikes him Trey transforms into a playful kitty, especially when the red dot of the laser pointer makes an appearance, and he’ll put on a show that’s worthy of an action movie. He has no issues with you picking him up but would prefer to keep his paws on the ground.
If you’re looking for a gentle, laid-back companion, Trey could be the perfect match for you!
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
Medical notes
Has been tested for FIV and FeLV and both are negative.
