Leo and Harley are looking for a new home!

Current location: Dandenong Ranges/VIC

Leo and Harley are an older very bonded pair who are currently in foster care which helped us to get to know them better. Due to a drastic unexpected change in circumstances in their foster home - due to no fault of the dogs, they need to be moved by the end of September, at the very latest.

Our foster carer is actually heartbroken as they planned to adopt them - so NO NEGATIVE comments please

Here is what our lovely foster carers said about the boys:

Leo and Harley are a delightful bonded pair who are searching for a home where they can continue to share their love and companionship. These two are more than just best friends—they're like family, inseparable and full of affection.

Harley, the older of the two at 9 1/2 years, is a spry and cheeky white pied boxer weighing 26kg. He adores basking in the sunshine and has a quirky habit of sitting on his buddy, Leo. Despite his age, he is full of life and brings a playful energy to every day.

Leo, at 8 1/2 years, is a brindle boxer who weighs in at 36kg. He’s a big, loveable lug who exudes warmth and patience, especially when Harley decides to make him his personal seat. Leo is all about love - he adores people and thrives on affection.

Together, Leo and Harley are incredibly affectionate and thrive on being close to their humans. They’re eager and inquisitive, always ready to explore or enjoy a good romp in the yard. While they have plenty of energy for activities, they also know how to slow down and enjoy some serious couch time. Being near or touching you is their favourite thing, and they love to be part of whatever you’re doing.

These two boys are strong, both in body and spirit, and they’re working on their manners as they adjust to new routines. They’re excellent in the car, making them great companions for road trips or errands. A home with older children and a yard where they can run around would be ideal for them, as they would fit right in and quickly make themselves comfortable.

Their favourite time of day is when you come home—they’ll be waiting with wagging tails, ready to cuddle up as close as they can. Leo and Harley enjoy their walks, though they don’t need them to be too long, and they think everyone they meet is just as excited about their kisses as they are.
