About Hailey
Meet Hailey, an affectionate and eager kitten looking for a family to call her own! Hailey is a sweetheart who loves being around people and will quickly become your shadow once she feels comfortable. Although it may take her a moment to warm up, when she does, she will shower you with love and attention, always keen to be close and share your company.
Hailey is a social butterfly who enjoys the presence of other cats, making her an excellent companion for a home with a resident feline. Her playful nature and friendly demeanor will add joy to any household, especially one with respectful kids who understand how to handle a kitten with care. She would thrive in an environment where she is included in family activities, as she loves to feel like she's part of the action.
Still just a kitten, Hailey is full of curiosity and energy, ready to explore her surroundings and engage in play. She is eager to find a forever home where she can truly feel like a cherished member of the family. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and devoted companion who will always want to be near you, Hailey is the perfect match. She's waiting for a family who will offer her all the love and affection she's ready to give in return!
To book a meet and greet with Hailey please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
