Dozy wags her ENTIRE body the moment she sets eyes on you. She wants to smother you in affection so you will need to like a dog that is literally in your face and can get upset if she is left behind when you go out. To help her settle when you leave home, she will benefit from home alone and departure training. Our staff can give you training tips.
Dozy appears to meet most of life's challenges with a super waggy tail that is, unless you want to take something she REALLY wants from her. We would encourage new owners to teach her how to swap and give up. This is a really useful life skill and will show her that her treasures, be that a favourite toy, bed or bone are okay to share.
Dozy appears to want to play with other friendly big dogs so perhaps a dog buddy of suitable size might be considered but, like all dogs in multi-dog households, should be fed in separate locations.
The adoption fee for DOZY is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
